Manipura: Govt. High School Conducts Annual Sports Day

Manipura, 11 December 2011: Government High School conducted the annual sports day. Manipura Grama Panchayath President inaugurated the sports day by unfurling the flag and conveyed best wishes. Jilla Panchayath Member Ida Gibba D’Souza received guard of honour and speaking on the occasion she said that, it is important to participate in the sports and winning is not so important and she wished good luck to all the participants.

 

 

 
The inaugural program was presided over by the School Development and Supervisory Committee President M. Govind Bhat. High School and Primary School Headmasters Nivedita B. and Lilavathi K. were present on the dias. Student Sanathraj compeered the program. Student Salmiya welcomed the guests and the gathering. Sooraj Shetty proposed vote of thanks. All the teachers coordinated the sports activities.
