Uchchila: Saraswathi Mandir School Annual Sports Day

Uchchila, 11 December 2011: The annual sports day celebration of Saraswathi Mandir High School and Primary School was inaugurated by Uchchila Grama Panchayath President Chandrashekar Kotyan on Thursday at the School grounds. Speaking on the occasion Retired School Teacher Annayya Poojary said that, even the education field is getting polluted and all people of the society need to protest this. In the sports competitions only few can win, but participation by everyone is important and they are not less to the winners, he said.

 

 
 
 
Chandrashekar in his speech said that, in the recent days the government is supporting the sports same as the education. So along with the studies also actively participate in the sports and become the talented students, he wished. Unfurling of school flag was conducted by School Development Committee Member Gopala Krishna Acharya.
 
The sports light brought from the Uchchila Mahalingeshwara Temple has been lit by the Old Students Association President Narayana Belchada. School Management Committee President Kaup Gangadhara Suvarna, Ganesh Acharya Uchchila, Headmaster B.S. Acharya, Mohandas Shetty, Sarojini Kumari, Seetharam Bhat, Laxman and others were present on the occasion.
