Karkala: Deepotsava at Hirgana Laxmipura Temple

Karkala, 27 November 2011: Deepotsava conducted at Shri Adi Shakti Mahalaxmi Temple in Hirgana karkalla on the last day of the Kartika month. Shri Sanstana Gowdapadacharya Kaivalya Mutt Shrimad Shivananda Saraswati Swami Maharaj gave asheervachana on the occasion and said that the prayers performed by the devotees during the Utsav and special feast days will receive special reward. The Utsavas give joy to the minds. But the selfishness in the mind will not have any award, the heart should be clean and the prayers should be offered with clean mind, he said.

 

 
On the dias Shri Kshethra Managing Trustee Narayana Gavalkar, Second Trustee Entrepreneur Santhosh Wagle, Ashok Nayak Hirgana, Rajapura Saraswtha Sangha President Jagadish Nayak and other guests and dignitaries were present. Secretary Balakrishna Nayak compeered the program. The celebration included Bhajane, Rangapooje, Annasantarpane, religious ceremonies and Yakshagana conducted by the Mandali members.
