Udupi: Taluk Level School Children Sports Meet Inaugurated

Udupi, 13 November 2011: The Udupi Taluk Level Primary and High School Children Sports Meet was inaugurated by Jilla Panchayath President Katapadi Shankara Poojary by releasing the balloons at the Ajjarakad grounds. The Sports meet was jointly organized by Adamaru Poorna Prajna Pre University College and Udupi Jilla Panchayath Public Education Department Udupi Zone. Yermal North Grama Panchayath President Kumari Jayashree S. Poojary unfurled the flag.

 

 
In the inaugural program Udupi Zone Education Officer Vasantha Shetty gave introductory speech. Other dignitaries present on the occasion were; Physical Education Director Seethanadi Vittala Shetty and Physical Education Inspection Officer Basavaraj. Adamaru Poorna Prajna P.U. College Correspondent Dr. S.L. Karnik received guard of honour. College Principal Jayachandra Ballal, Naveen Shetty and Nagesh Rajiv were present. Mamatha Gawnkar welcomed. Shrihari Sharma compeered the program. Ganapathi Bhat proposed vote of thanks.
