Kaup: Blood Donation awareness rally held

Kaup, 09 November 2011: Encouraging the blood donation voluntarily in Kaup Vidyaniketana Group of Education Society, a awareness rally was conducted. The rally which was participated by hundreds of students from the Vidyaniketana Group was inaugurated by Udupi Jilla Panchayath President Katapadi Shankara Poojary.

 

 

The inaugural program was presided over by the Society Correspondent K.P.
Acharya. Udupi District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr. Ramachandra Bayiri, Udupi District Aids Control Officer Dr. H. Ashok, Dostrict Hospital Blood Bank Centre Head Dr. Sharath Kumar, Kaup Rotary Club President Sadashiva Bhat were the Chief Guests of the program.

 

On this occasion blood donors Suhas Hegde Nandalike, Nagaraj G.S., Shrinivas Prasad and Munir Malpe were honoured. Rotary Club members, Students and Teachers voluntarily donated blood.
