Mallaru: House damaged as the lightening hits

Mallaru, 05 November 2011: A house belonging to Vijaya Poojary in Mallaru Grama Panchayath area is damaged as the lightening hit on Wednesday night. With the impact of the thunder the roof tiles flown off into broken pieces and at the same time the lightening hit the roof, catching fire to the house wirings and the roof wooden rafters got completely burned.

 

 


 
Udupi Jilla Panchayath President Katapadi Shankara Poojary and Mallaru Grama Panchayath Members visited the spot on Thursday.
