Udupi: BJP Udupi conducts protest on central govt. policy

Udupi, 12 October 2011: BJP Udupi Yuva Morcha led a protest against the central government policy at Gandhi circle Udupi on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion Yuva Morcha District President Vilas Nayak expressed protest on the central government policy of returning back the land to the people who were in India before 1947, but left India to Pakistan after Indipendence leaving their land behind.

 

 
Speaking further Vilas Nayak said that, though Jammu – Kashmir is the state of India, as per the constitution clause 370 nobody other than Kashmiris can possess the land there. But the government is allowing the Pakistanis to possess the land there, he said. On this occasion he also condemned the Ranganath Mishra and Sachar reports. He also expressed his support to the Rathayathra being conducted nationwide by Advani.
 
Later Jilla Panchayath Member Geethanjali Suvarna, Municipal Member Shyamprasad Kudwa and others spoke addressing the protestors. Yuva Morch leader; Kishan Kumar, Shivaprasad Shetty, Pradip, Shailendra Shetty and others have led the protest.
