Shirva: Animal health check-up camp organized

Shirva, 27 September 2011: Animal health check-up camp was conducted at the Agricultural centers of Shirva, Kallottu diary point, Padavu Samaja Mandir and near Sorkal Akila Farm. The camp which was jointly organized by Shirva Grama Panchayath, Animal Dispensary Shirva, Milk Producers Cooperative Society and Rotary Shirva, was inaugurated by Panchayath Member Krishna Poojary.

 

 
 
The inaugural program was presided over by Shirva Grama Panchayath President Vanitha Kamalaksha Shenoy. Chief Guests present on the occasion were; Grama Panchayath Vice President Mary D’Souza, Rotary President Ronald Sequeira and Milk Producers Cooperative Society President Sachidananda Shetty.
 
Shirva Veterinary Medical Officer Dr. Arun Hegde welcomed the guests and the gathering. Rotary Secretary Leo Noronha proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Raghupathi Acharya, Dr. Priyadarshini, Vasantha and Payappanavar conducted the medical check-up of the animals and also gave vaccinations.
