Sarvajanika Ganshotsava in Shirva & Bantakal

Shirva, 30 August 2011: Shri Ganeshotsava program will be conducted from 1st to 3rd September 2011 by Sarvajanika Shri Ganeshotsava Samiti Shirva. Everyday Shri Ganahoma, Durvankura Pooja, Mahapooja, talent competitions and evenings cultural programs will be conducted. On Thursday evening at 6.30 Bharathanatya will be performed by Kumari Nishchitha Kuthyaru and Kumari Chitrakala Shirva.

 

 

On Friday 2nd September at noon Mahapooje will be conducted followed by public annasantharpane. In the evening at 5.00 pm in the religious program Shirva Samudaya Health Centre Medical Officer Dr. Vasudeva Upadyaya shall preside over. Dr. Radhakrishna Bhat Perla shall present the upanyasa. Shirva Police Station Police Officer K.R. Nayak will be the Chief Guest.

 

In the evening at 6.00 pm “Shri Krishna Paramya” yakshagana will be performed by Sarayu Balakshavranda Kodikal Mangalore. On Saturday 3rd September, in the evening at 4.00 pm Visarjana Pooje, Statue will be taken in the Shobhayatre and Jalastambha will be done in the pool of Shri Mahalasa Narayani Temple, announced the Samiti.

 

Shri Ganeshotsava program in Bantakal

 

Shri Ganeshotsava program will be conducted from 1st to 5th September 2011 by Sarvajanika Shri Ganeshotsava Samiti Bantakal. Everyday Shriganayaga, Durvankura Pooje, at noon Mahapooje, in the evening cultural programs and Rangapooje will be conducted. On 5th September at 4.00 pm Visarjana Pooje, Shobhayatre of the statue through Heruru and Jalastambha will be done in Kallugudde Markodi river.

 

On Sunday 4th September in the evening at 5.30 pm religious function Kolyashree Rajayogi Sadguru Ramananda Swameeji will give asheervachana. The program will be presided over by Bantakal Shri Durgaparameshwari Yakshagana Kala Sangha President K. Janardhana nayak. Shirva Rotary President Ronald Sequeira will be the Chief Guest.

 

The cultural programs are as follows; Thursday 1st September evening at 7.00 pm Natyanjali by Shri Gayathri Nrathyakala Kendra Bantakal. Friday 2nd September at 7.00 pm Talent Show by the local schools and artists from various associations. Saturday 3rd September at 7.30 pm Dakshayajna yakshagana bayalata by Shridevi Yakshagana Mandali, announced the samithi.
