Teacher beats up eight-year-old girl

Kolar Gold Fields, 13 July 2011: Lahari, 8, was beaten up by her teacher for failing to bring a book that the latter had asked for. She was a student of Jain School in Bharatnagar, here on Monday.

 

She has suffered bruises on her leg. She has been admitted at the hospital.

 

Lahari’s parents complained that when they complained, the school management neglected their complaint.

 

The BEO, Krishnamurthy has said that the school management would be issued notice. A complaint in this regard has been lodged at the BEML Nagar police.
