Udupi, 05 June 2011: The action taken by the central government during the fasting movement by Baba Ramdev, is as disgusting as the actions taken by British Officer General Dayar in Jalian Vala Bhag, condemned Pramod Muthalik, National Convener of Shree Rama Sene.
Arresting of Baba and his supporters who were doing the fasting movement peacefully and non-violently, is a mean and inhuman act by the central government, and they will have to answer the 100 crores of people, for what crime such condemnable action was taken?, he demanded in Udupi.
How can, Sadhwi Ruthambara and others participation with Baba becomes a crime? They are not terrorists, not traitors, they are Indians and they have every right to protest against the corruption taking place in the country, justified Muthalik.
British can be forgiven once, but the country’s citizens should not forgive this act by the central government, 100 crores people should protest against this, Bharath Band should be done, I am calling this on behalf of Shree Rama Sene, he said.
Whatever decisions will be taken up by Bharath Swabhiman Trust and Pathanjali Yoga Samithi will be unconditionally acceptable to us, he said on this occasion.
