Kota, 04 June 2011: Robbery taken place in a house in Madhuvana of Vaddarse Grama on Thursday. The house resident Hamza Byari, his wife, daughter and sister were sleeping in a room with door closed. At this time by opening the main door Rs. 20,000 cash from a godrej cubboard in another room and a 5 pawan necklace, 3 pawan ear rings, 1 pawan bracelet and 1 pawan 3 ladies rings from a suitcase under the cloths has been robbed. Total value of the items robbed is estimated to 1.20 lakhs as per the complain registered by Hamza Byari at the Kota Police Station.
Manipal, 04 June 2011: A robbery took place in a house at Honnekodi, Alevoor Grama on Fridy evening. The house residents Ramesh Nayak and others had gone out. At this time, by opening the door the robbers got into the house and from the godrej one pair silver anklet, half pawan ring, 1 pawan black stone ear rings, 1 pawan ear chain, half pawan ear rings and cash Rs. 35,000 has been robbed. Total value of the items robbed is estimated to Rs. 45 thousands as per the complain registered by Ramesh Nayak at the Manipal Police Station.
Kundapura, 04 June 2011: In a incident, a person fell into well died on Thursday at Beluru Grama. The deceased Raju (35) is the brother-in-law of Permalappa. While he was pulling the water from the well of Sathyanath Shetty at 08.00 pm in the night, slipped his leg and fell into the well. The concrete ring hit his head and he was injured. Though he was removed from the well and taken to the hospital, bu on the way he died. A case on this is registered in Kundapura Police Station.
Udupi, 04 June 2011: Goverment has taken the cheating case of M/s Guruteek Investment (Mysore) Society seriously and the Police Department has requested to those who are cheated to register the case in the nearest Police Station.
This society under the company rules, with the approval from SEBI collected money from the public but does not return the deposit upon maturity. This cheating has been reported all over the state recently. Though some of them have already complained, most of them have kept quiet without complaining. Therefore, anyone who is cheated by this society can register their complain to the nearest police station without any fear, it is said.
