“Bhagavathgeethe” is the Kamadhenu of all generations – Shri Vidhyadhishatheertha

Padubelle, 20 April 2011: “The collection of all the messages given by the almighty which has been the origin of all the religions, casts and philosophy is Bhagavathgeethe. Reading and analyzing it everyday will fill us with the knowledge and would clean our minds and developes the humanity. Bhagavathgeethe is the Kamadhenu of all generations” said Yathi Shri Vidyadhishatheertha Swameeji of Udupi Palimaru Mutt.

 

He was giving asheervachana upon inaugurating “Geetha Abhiyana” program in Padubelle Shri Mahalingeshwara Temple on the occasion of the 10th year celebration of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Padubelle Branch on Tuesday. He appreciated the Padubelle Vishwa Hindu Parishad on their various contributions to the society such as religious alertness, public health, education, social activities and giving away the book of Bhagavathgeethe to every house.

 

 

Chief Guest of the program Balaji Raghavendra Rao – National member of Bharatha Swabhimani Trust spoke on the occasion and said that the daily reading of Geetha alerts all the sathvic values for the human kind and gives the strength for the better attitudes. Udupi Taluk Panchayath President Devdas Hebbar welcomed the guests and the gathering. Chief Archaka of Shrikshethra Madhvaraja Bhat gave introduction speech and briefed the activities of Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

 

Shrikshethra Chief Archaka Vedmurthy Madhvaraja Bhat, Kamalaksha Shenoy Shirva, Belle Angadi Sadananda Shenoy, Shrikshethra Managing Trustee Subhashchandra Shetty, Bailumane Vittala Shetty, B. Pundalika Marathe Shirva, Pushkara Shetty, Shankara Achar, Sudhakara Poojary and Mukunda Bhat were felicitated by Shree with shawl, garland, fruit-flowers and mementos, for their contributions in establishing and supporting the Vishwa Hindu Parishad Branch in Padubelle.

 

The program was presided over by Managing Trustee Subhashchandra Shetty. President of of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Nadimane Vishwanath Shetty was present on the Dias. Founder President Ajith Shetty compeered the program. Founder Secretary Shreesha Samaga proposed vote of thanks. At noon, Public Sathyanarayana Pooje, Shridevara Mahapooje, Public Annasantharpane were conducted. In the evening Vasanthothsava and at night Yakshagana Bayalata “Meenakshi Kalyana” by famous artists and other cultural programs were conducted.
