Kaup: Shortage of Applications for Gangakalyana Project

Kaup, 16 April 2011: “There is no sufficient applications from the farmers for the drinking water project for backward community” said Kaup MLA Lalaji R. Mendon. He spoke upon distribution of cheques worth Rs. 17.35 lakh which were sanctioned on D. Davaraj Aras Backward Community Developement Nigama Project to 122 persons. He said that under this project scheme people can avail the financial help and develop their self employment in their trades.
Udupi Jilla Panchayath President Katapadi Shankar Poojary, Taluk Panchayath Member Kavitha, Shambhavi Kulal, Kaup Grama Panchayath President Yogish Rai, Kaup C.A. Bank President Subrhamanya Shetty, Cheif Organizer Shekar Acharya, Padubidri C.A. Bank President Sudhir Kumar were present on the occasion.
Nigama Jilla Organizer Ramamurthy Mayya welcomed the gathering. Karnataka Minority Development Nigama President Shridhar Bandary compeered the program.
