While Shanthakumaran Sreesanth has not been known for exemplary behavior on the field, neither has Harbhajan Singh. The incidents have passed now and even the guilty Harbhajan was punished. The Indian authorities didn t want a media circus on the incident and so killed the incident and quickly effected reconciliation between the two players, banned Bhajji for the rest of IPL and issued a warning to Sreesaanth then. That was the best way to go. I think some of our cricketers in the national side need to have a professional full time psychologist to prepare them to think right and sport the right attitude, very much like the physical trainer. |
