AN APPEAL FOR HELP

Yashodha and Ravi Poojary, a couple from Moodubelle,,Udupi District, Karanataka who were working in Dubai were waiting for the arrival of their baby. Yashodha was in her 7th month of pregnancy and was to fly to India on 29th Jun 2015 for her delivery as both of them were unable to  afford to have the baby in Dubai. Yashodha  has been working  as a maid and her husband Ravi Poojary works as a ‘roti’ maker in a small restaurant in Dubai.

On 29th June early morning Yashodha got severe pain in her stomach and was admitted to Latifa Hospital where she prematurely delivered a baby girl. The weight of the baby was just 1.2 kgs and the hospital refused to  discharge the baby unless the baby reached  a particular amount of weight. Currently the baby is kept in an incubator and per day expense is approximately  AED 3,500. They managed to pay AED 21,000 by borrowing from friends and relatives and the couple can’t afford to pay the mounting hospital bill.

The couple, Ravi and Yashoda have made an appeal through Bellevision.com to all its readers and well-wishers to generously come to their rescue by contributing whatever they could to bear the hospital expenses so that the little prematurely born child will survive.
