Shirva: Vishnumurthy Temple to get rupees 25 lakhs grant

Shirva, 21 June 2011: Udupi District Minister Dr. V. S. Acharya has told that rupees 25 lakhs will be granted for the renovation of Shirva Vishnumurthy Temple. He was speaking on his presidential address during the rituals ceremony to initiate the renovation work of Shirva Shree Vishnumurthy Temple which is undergoing renovation with a estimated cost of rupees 3 crores.

 

 

 

Dr. Acharya said that the minimum regular amount being paid to the temple has been raised to 12 thousands. Nitte University Chancellor N. Vinaya Hegde initiated the rituals for the renovation work. On this occasion Kaup MLA Lalaji R. Mendon, Shankar Hegde, Nithyananda Hegde, Mattaru Rathnakar Hegde, Harikrishna Thanthri, Haridas Aythal, Sachidananda Hegde and others were present.
