Udupi: Babita J Aras Re-Elected as New President of Shirva Mahila Mandal

Udupi, 10 Dec 2013: Babita J Aras was re-elected as new president of Shirva Mahila Mandala that has been in the forefront in social service activities in the entire district, for three-year term, during the annual general body meeting held at their office, here on Sunday December 8.

 

Kusuma Govind Shenoy (vice president), Malati Ananta Moodittaya (secretary), Vasanti Gopal (joint secretary), Sukanya Ravindra Shetty, Vanita Devendra Nayak, Celestine Menezes, Sridevi, Chetana Prashant Shetty, Geeta Moolya, Veena Chandrashekar Bhat, Padmavati Venkatesh Kamat, Maria Jacinta Mathias, Sumati Jayaprakash Suvarna and  Jayasri Jayapal Shetty  (executive Committee members), K Sundar Prabhu and Ravindra Shetty Kollabettu (honorary advisors).

 
The Mandala member Geeta Moolya who was qualified to compete in state level competitions after winning top place in shot put and discuss throw during seniors sports meet recently.

 
The public celebration of Ganeshotsav Committee president K Sundar Prabhu urged the members to begin membership drive in order to strengthen the Mandal strive to strengthen families in instilling Indian culture.

 
Babita presided the programme and welcomed the gathering.  Malati read the annual report.  Shweta Giridar presented the annual accounts.  Vasanti Gopal proposed vote of thanks.
