Mumbai: Independence Day celebrated in St Xavier’s High School, Borivali (E)

Mumbai, 17 Aug 2013: The Independence Day celebrations were held at Ryan International School and St Xavier’s High School, Borivali (Eest) here on Sunday August 16.

Photographers’ Times journal editor Kiran Manjrekar was the chief guest of the occasion.

Manjrekar in his Independence Day message, appealed to the students to remember the sacrifices of freedom fighters in securing freedom and contribute their mite for nation building, appealed Manjrekar.

 

Swabhiman Bharat journal editor Bharat Sukumar, Block Number 3 Congress Committee president Satish, Brother Adrian Lopes and others were present at the das.

The skits, patriotic music programme, distribution of prizes to the winners was held during the programme.
The dignitaries planted saplings to conclude the celebrations.  

The programme that was held successfully with the leadership of School head teacher Mariette Fernandes began with prayers, welcome speech and dance.
