Sunidhi Chauhan to rock Kuwait on 25th May

Kuwait, 20 May 2012: A Sunidhi Chauhan performance in Kuwait, that is a phenomenon by itself! Sunidhi, the versatile singing sensation ruling Bollywood’s music scene is set to woo Kuwait audiences in  a scintillating performance on Friday, the 25th of May at the Mishref Fairgrounds, Hall 7. The concert, plugged as the ‘Biggest Asian Show of the Year’ is being organized by Creative Indians Association and Raja Company WLL.

Together, Creative Indians Association and Raja Company WLL are set to create history in Kuwait with Sunidhi Chauhan’s live performance. The excitement is palpable with an artist of this caliber performing for the very first time in Kuwait. In preparation for this exciting event, Hall 7 of Mishref Fairgrounds is being converted into an ideal concert auditorium with specially set up acoustics and step-elevated seating rows so that everyone in the audience is able to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy the show.

Sunidhi Chauhan’s strength lies not only in her powerful rendition of songs of almost every genre, but also in being a consummate stage performer, quickly winning the audience on her side, before taking them for a mesmerizing musical ride. She is blessed with an unparalleled voice range, making her completely at home with fast paced dance numbers to soft romantic songs, from Hindi to English and different Indian languages. To her credit is the top notch best selling songs list from Bollywood including "Sheila Ki Jawani" from ‘Tees Maar Khan’, "Beedi" from ‘Omkara’, "Mehboob Mere" from ‘Fiza’, "Deedar De" for ‘Dus’, "Aisa jadoo dala re" from ‘Khakee’ and the very recent "Fann Ban Gayi" from ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’.
The young singer began singing at the tender age of four, had already belted over 350 songs by the age of 19, and has in the course of years won numerous awards and accolades, both, for her songs and stage performances. In 2011, Sunidhi got her breakthrough in the international pop world by collaborating with international pop star Enrique Iglesias for a Hindi version of the song Heartbeat.

Sunidhi Chauhan will be accompanied by Indian Idol finalist Rakesh Maini and anchor cum standup comedian Raviraj Kande. .

Rakesh Maini to Perform at the Sunidhi Chauhan – Live in Concert this Friday !

 

 

27-year old Agra based lad Rakesh Maini belongs to a large family consisting of eleven siblings and his parents. Having had no formal training in music and singing, Rakesh had only his talent and quest for hard work and commitment to see him through.  With a burning desire to fulfill his parents long time wish of seeing their son perform on television, he auditioned for the television show ‘Indian Idol 5’ and managed to win the hearts of millions through his magical voice and breathtaking performances.

The most wondering part about Rakesh Maini is that he reached such a great platform with only his effort and relentless practice.. His exceptionally melodious singing left the judges spellbound all the way. Before being acknowledged at this platform he used to sing in the local programs and bhajans in his home town. Sonu Nigam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shaan are his inspirations.

He narrowly missed becoming Indian Idol but that he hasn’t let that dampen his spirits. The Agra boy gave a scintillating performance in the Taj city, much to the delight of his fans who had supported him during the singing reality show.
Rakesh sang a full repertoire of romantic numbers at the Agra Club stage, leaving the audience enthralled. He started with the classic Humen tumse pyar kitna and went on to tracks like Dil diya hai and Chappa chappa charkha chale.
"A grounding in classical music would have been very useful," said Rakesh, who is a popular devotional singer in Agra, Rakesh feels that his strength lies in being a complete performer with great stage presence and good entertainment value.

1. This is the first time in History that an Indian Live Concert is taking place in the Mishref Fair  grounds.                     2. The KD. 7/- seats will have the best view with their seats elevated 20, 40 and 60 cms above ground level for perfect viewing of the stage/show.
3. That the Complete Hall is being carpeted with brand new carpet only for this event.
4. That the Sound System specially organized for this show is an overhead one for perfect sound and unlike the old traditional stand alone speakers that you get to see in most of the shows in Kuwait
5. Special Lighting effects are being done by a well known internationally renowned engineer specially flown in for this show !
6. The accompanying Male Singer Rakesh Maini is of the Indian Idol fame and well known for his performances in Hindi and Punjabi songs
7. The Compere Ravi Raj is also a Mimicry artist and well known as an audience favorite for his masterful copy of Bollywood icons from Ashok Kumar to Shahrukh Khan
8. There will be four projector screens around the hall working on state of the art projectors with capacity of over 10,000 plus lumens showing high definition images of the show.
