Mangaluru: Sculptures at Mandd Sobhann in Shaktinagar creates Covid-19 awareness

Mangaluru, 02 May 2020: The cement sculptures of Mangalorean Konkans in erstwhile South Canara district that welcomes the visitors at the entrance of Mandd Sobhann, Makale, Shaktinagar, here creates general awareness on Covid-19 global pandemic. 

 

 

Mandd Sobhann, city-based organization striving to promote Konkani and its distinct culture worldwide lies a few furlongs away from the quarantined zone of Covids-19 at Kakkebettu that comes at the limits of Padav gram panchayat in Kulshekar, here. 

 

The masks placed at the nose of sculptures caution the people to wear the mask once venturing outside.
