Abu Dhabi: India Social Centre hosts grand ’Iftar’ Get-Together

Abu Dhabi, 09 Jul 2014: The premium organization of Abu Dhabi, India Social and Cultural Centre organized grand “Iftar “ get-together at its premises, on Tuesday, 8th,July, 2014.  The well-organized IftarPary was attended by Prominent personalities, including His Excellency Mr.T.P.Seetharam, Ambassador of India to U.A.E., Mr. Abdul Al Zabi, Radio Program Director, Abu Dhabi Media, Capt. Mohammed Yousif Al Khoori, Abu Dhabi Police Officials, Mr. Sudhir Kumar Shetty, COO Global Operations (UAE Exchange Centre), Mr. Sarvotham Shetty (President, Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha), Mr. Shekar Shetty (MD Arab-Udupi group of Restaurants), Mr. Sunder Shetty (MD Nihal Restaurant and Tandoori Cornor) and community religious leaders namely Fr. Prakash Abraham (Marthoma Church), Fr. C.L. Elias (Khanya Church) and Fr. Jibi Varghese (Jacobite Syrian Church) accompanied by ISC Hon President Mr. Natrajan.

 

The programmed started with a recitation of Holy Quran by a prominent religious leader.

 

 

After breaking of the fast and evening prayers, a short stage program held and all the dignitaries exchanged Ramadan Compliments and Wishes.

 

ISC Gen. Secretary Vinod welcomed the gathering and briefed the audience on importance of holy month of Ramadan and a brief introduction of the guests given by him.He thanked all the dignitaries for attending the Iftar get-together.

 

ISC Hon. President Mr. Natrajanwelcomed the prominent guests and expressed his gratitude for accepting the invitation and for joining them for the Iftar get-together.  He also highlighted the importance of keeping fast during Ramadhan and duties of all Muslims including charity and prayers that need to be followed by every true Muslim.

 

He especially expressed his gratitude to Chief Guests of the day His Excellency Mr. T. P. Seetharam, Ambassador of India to U.A.E., Mr. Abdul Al Zabi, Radio Program Director, Abu Dhabi Media, Capt. Mohammed Yousif Al Khoori, Abu Dhabi Police Officials, Mr. Sudhir Kumar Shetty, COO Global Operations (UAE Exchange Centre).

 

His ExcellencyMr.T.P.Seetharamthanked Mr. Natarajan for his kind invitation and also thanked all the ISC organizing committee for arranging the Iftar Party and has conveyed his Ramadan wishes to all gatheredguests and members of the ISC.
Sumptuous Dinner was served for all gathered on the auspicious occasion.
