Shilpika Shetty conferred with the Karnataka Chetana Award

Mumbai, 11 October 2011: Miss Shilpika Shetty, daughter of  Sundara Shetty of Kurukunji Perampalli and  Sundnanda Shetty oof Kurkal has been conferred with the Karnataka Chetana Award on Sunday, 9the October 2011 in a function held at the Kartnataka Sangha Matunga  for her dedication  towards the classical dance and Indian culture. There were 431 applicants for this award out of which only 60 were shortlisted and Shilpika was one of them.

 

 

 

 

Karnataka Chetana Award is being given by the Jnana Mandara Educatinal and Cultural Academy to those young individuals who  manifest  excellence in the field of education and culture. Shilpika is the student of  Guru M.N. Suvarna of Arunodaya Kala Niketana and Guru Bharata Natya Pravine Meenakshi Raju Shriyan.

 

 

 

Shilpika Shetty is currently employed with Hotel Peninsula Grand as a Business Development Manager.
