Mumbai, 01 Sep 2013: There is no end for learning. Therefore, the students had to develop interest in studies to make better of opportunities. It’s essential for the parents to be concerned of studies of their children to help them excel in studies. The students had to be disciplined. The students get fillip to their studies when the social welfare organizations help them with financial assistance, said L. V. Amin, president of Kannada Sangh Santacruz.
Amin was speaking during the fifty-sixth annual distribution of scholarship programme by Kannada Sangh Santacruz ® at Billawa Bhavan auditorium, Santacruz (East) here on Saturday August 31 evening.
The vice president Nityanand D.Kotian, Hon. chief Secretary Sujata R.Shetty, honorary treasurer Chandrahas J.Kotian, Jt. Secretary G.R. Bangera were present at the dais.
The education Committee secretary Sudhakar Ucchil, social and cultural Committee president Prema R.Kotian, secretary Sharada S.Poojary, Narayan S. shetty, B.D.Suvarna, B.R.Poonja, Shivaram Kotian, Suma M.Poojary, Raghunat B. Poojary, and others were also present on the occasion.
Laxmi Kotian rendered the prayers. The honorary chief secretary Sujata R.Shetty welcomed the gathering and presented the annual report. The honorary treasurer Chandrahas J.Kotian presented the annual accounts. The joint secretary G.R Bangera proposed vote of thanks.
