Mangalore: Vote Count Begins amidst Heavy Security

Mangalore, 8 May 2013: The vote count begun at Canara College, here amidst heavy security at 8.00am on Wednesday May 8. The periphery of the College is guarded by paramilitary personnel to enable peaceful counting.
The assembly elections were held across Karnataka on Sunday May 5. The voters have sealed the fate of political parties in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) that will be counted by election staff to announce the poll outcome at the earliest by 12.30pm or so.
