Mangaluru: Covid-19 global pandemic threat to mankind can be overcome with mass support – MLC Ivan

Mangaluru, 23 Apr 2020: We need everyone’s support in the fight to curb Covid-19 global pandemic, said MLC Ivan D’Souza.  He was speaking to people whilst distributing rations to over 150 needy families at Urwa and Derebail municipal wards, here on Wednesday, April 23.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He further said, ‘We need to co-operate in the fight against Covid-19 as it poses the greatest challenge to mankind in this century.  Everyone got to be alert in this regard,’ said Ivan.     

 

He appealed the wealthy to support the hungry with food and urged the masses to create general awareness on Novel Coronavirus. 

 

He also distributed rations to over 150 families by door to visits to many colonies in the city. 

 

The Congress block president Vishwas Das, ward president Ganesh, former corporator Padmanabha Aminh, Congress women unit president Shantala Shetty, Chetan Urwa and others were present.
