Manipal: MIC Celebrates Alumni Meet and Talents Day

Manipal, 09 November 2010: Manipal Institute of Communication, Manipal clelebrated the alumni meet and talents day recently. More that 80 alumni from various places participated in this celebration.

 

Thronging their alma mater from various places, the alumni recalled their nostalgic memories in MIC and shared their professional experience with the present students.   The sudden appearance of super-hit film Director Abhinav Kashyap of Dabang fame and his crew at the venue added much cheer to the meeting.

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion Manipal University Registrar Dr GK Prabhu, Student Affairs Director Dr Padmaraj Hegde, former chairman of Prasar Bharathi MV Kamath explained how alumni would contribute to the strength of an educational institute.

 

MIC Director Varadesh Hiregange announced that the alumni meet, henceforth, would be a regular annual affair. Programme Co-ordinator HS Shubha recalled the contribution of MIC Alumni to the growth of the Institute. The event was followed by a cultural show by the students.
