Udupi: Voddu Vorant, Book of Konkani articles authored by columnist Alwy Pernal released

Udupi, 14 May 2014: Voddu Vorant, a series of Konkani article authored by ace comperer and columnist Alwy Pernal was released during parish day celebrations at Our Lady of Fatima parish, Pernal, near here on Tuesday May 13.
 
Pernal parish priest Fr Arthur Pereira released the book during a brief programme held after the Holy Mass here on Tuesday.
 
Alwy’s parents Edward and Magdalene Danti, Pernal parishioner clergy Fr Arun D’Mello and Fr Rajesh D’Souza were present on the occasion.

 

 
The book has 35 series of Konkani article on different topics that was published in Dirvem, Konkani illustrated monthly.  The renowned graphic designer Wilson Kayyar has designed the cover.  The book was published by Srujana Publication and priced at Rs 100.
