Sonepat, 25 May 2011: In a horror incident in Sonepat, a man was killed by supari killers, who he had himself hired. He had paid them Rs 4 lakh to eliminate his family and his children.
It is a murder plot that went horribly wrong. 30-year-old Yogesh allegedly hired two contract killers to get his family killed because they were against his affair with a woman. But he became the target instead, when he insisted that they kill his two children too.
The police said that Yogesh had agreed to pay an amount of Rs 15 lakh to have his wife, children and parents killed and also paid an advance of almost Rs 4 lakhs. But when the killers refused to kill the children, Yogesh demanded his money back. A fight ensued, during which Yogesh was shot.
Yogesh’s parents, however, have refused to believe their son plotted to kill them.
Yogesh’s mother Savitri said that the police have cooked up the story and that there was no tension in the family.
Police are now banking on prime witness Anand, who was a close friend of Yogesh, and helped him hire the contract killers but also refused to include the children.
"It was better to kill one person than the entire family," Anand said.
The contract killers and Anand have now been arrested.
