Mumbai: Hacchitta Hanategalu, Kannada Book of Women Authors life experiences released

Mumbai, 4 Jul 2014: The life experiences should open up new ideals to new generation. It has to alert the society on perils of extremes that got to be in literary form, said the renowned theater director and critic Dr Bharat Kumar Polipu.
Dr Bharat was speaking after releasing, ‘Hacchitta Hanategalu’ book of life experiences brought out by Srajana – Mumbai Kannada Lekhakiyara Balaga to mark their decennial celebrations during function held at Dr Vishveshwarayya auditorium of Karnataka Sangha Mumbai ®, Matunga (West) here on Friday July 4.
Hacchitta Hanategalu, is compilation of life experiences of 33 writers. They are indeed in brief, said Dr Bharat. He further elaborated on why the need for recording life experiences, how far it is true. Meanwhile, one should be cautious as not to file a report of life experiences instead it has to be in literary form, said Dr Bharat.
The book has the life experiences of Mitra Venkatraj, Dr Vani Ucchilkar, Dr Mamata Rao, Dr Suma Dwarakanat, Shyamala Madhav, Anasuya Basavaraj Yalagi, Tulasi Venugopal, Akshata Deshpande, Alamelu Iyer, Padmaja Mannoor, Vidhya Deshpande, Hema Sadanand Amin, Sharada Ambesange, G P Kusuma, Arusha Shetty, Gayatri Ramu, Susheela S Devadiga, Amita S Bhagavat, Meena Kalavar, Yashoda R Shetty, Dayamani Shetty Yekkar, Anita P Poojary Taccode, Shanta Vittal Shetty, Sumitra Gujaran, Sarita Suresh Nayak, Dr Girija Shastry, Dakshayani Yadahalli, Vanaja Rajan, Shanta Shastry, Dr Sunita M Shetty, Jayalaxmi Parvatikar, Sharada A Anchan, Shakuntala R Prabhu.
Srajana – Mumbai Kannada Lekhakiyara Balaga president Prakash G Burde explained the activities of their Association. The co-convener Dakshayani Yadahalli spoke on the path led by their Association. The honorary secretary Omdas Kannangar comperred the programme.
