‘Journalists should support the process of building harmony in society and among communities. In addition, the media should contribute to societal change and transformation. These are its primary responsibilities,’ emphasized Bishop Dr Henry.
‘The journalist must have an inner urge to make a positive difference. She/he must be sensitive towards any incident of conflict, violence and so on. Only these qualities help to communicate and write,’ said Bishop Dr Henry.
MLA J R Lobo in his chief guest’s address emphasized on following ethics while carrying out journalistic duties. ‘If a good journalist can build society, a bad journalist can equally break it.
