Mangalore: DCC Convenes Strategic Meet for Upcoming Assembly Elections in Mangalore South Constituen

Mangalore, 13 Apr 2013: Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee (DCC) convened a meeting at Congress election office, Kadri here on Saturday April 13 morning, to devise election strategy for the upcoming assembly elections at Mangalore south constituency that has been represented by party candidate the former bureaucrat J R Lobo.
Addressing the media person, the former mayor Ashraf said that the longtime sitting-MLA Yogish Bhat has not earnestly worked in addressing the general grievances of people in the Mangalore south constituency, while the bureaucrat turned politician J R Lobo has clear idea about the needed developments that ought to be taken up for the all round development of the entire constituency, said Ashraf.
J R Lobo said that he needed a break in his political career and assured to be fully devoted to work for the integral development of Mangalore south constituency and urged the voters to franchise their precious votes for him. The feedbacks from corporators and ward Committees are taken into consideration to streamline future developments, said Lobo.
The veteran Congressmen including Suresh Ballal, Shivabagh Congress corporator Sabitha Misquit, Bendore Congress corporator Naveen D’Souza and others were present at the occasion.
