Shirva: Diabetic Control Week camp Concludes

Shirva, 06 April 2011: “If, simple yoga asanas, sathwik food, disciplined lifestyle is regularly practiced the health can be improved without taking any kind of medicine, limited food means healthy life” said Shirva Mohanadas Hegde.
He was speaking as the Chief Guest in the concluding program of one week long “Diabetic Control Week” organized by Pathanjali Yogapeeta Haridwara, Pathanjali Yoga Samithi Shirva at Shirva Mahalasa Narayani Temple’s Sudhindra Mantapa.
Karnataka Konkani Sahithya Academy Member B. Pundalika Marathe spoke on the occasion and said that for any sickness, along with the food the conscious is also very much important. With Thrikarna Shuddhi, one who thinks with prosperity and cultivates service mentality will be always healthy.
Shirva Pathanjali Yoga Samithi President K. Sundara Prabhu presided over the function. Yoga Teacher Suresh Bhaktha, Transport Entrepreneur Shivarama Shetty Payyaru, Shirva Youngmen’s Sports Cultural Association Secretary Kollabettu Ravindra Shetty, Zakhir Husain of Samaja Seva Samithi, Sudarshan Shetty, K. Srinivasa Rao were present on this occasion.
Social worker Anantharaya Shenoy read out the report of the camp. Vasudeva Shetty welcomed the guests and the gathering. Govinda Kunder narrated the experience of the camp. Yoga Teacher N. Radhakrishna Prabhu compeered the program and also proposed vote of thanks.
