M’lore: Civic Body to discontinue water supply for 10 hrs on Jun 25 for maintenance

Mangalore, 24 Jun 2014: The municipal body to discontinue water supply to the households across the city for 10 hours on Wednesday June 25 from 8.00am to 6.00pm, as the maintenance of valves are necessitated owing to leakage of water on main supply line.

 
In order to repair the valves on 1,100 diameter supply pipes that gets water from Thumbay vented dam, the civic body issued a media release to stop water for 10 hours in localities of Kannur, Bajal, Morgansgate, Mangaladevi, Old Kent Road, Attavar, Kavoor, Marakada, Shaktinagar, Karavali pump house, to facilitate maintenance on main line that supplies water to Padil water treatment plant.
