Dubai: St Joseph’s Belman Bethkati Association celebrates feast of Patron Saint

Dubai, 9 Jun 2014: The feast of St Joseph’s was held with fanfare at London Suits Hotel, Al Wasi Club here on Friday June 6 afternoon till late evening.  The event was organized by Belman Bethkati Association – Dubai at the leadership of Ivan D’Souza and Committee members.

 
The program commenced by invoking God’s blessing which was led by Preethi Pereira, followed by stage function compered by Arun D’Silva. Anil Prakash D’souza compered the program and mesmerized the crowd till the evening.

 
Belman parishioners Gregory Menezes and Lydia Aranha were the chief guests of the occasion.

 
Both Gregory and Lydia enlightened the gathering with their words of wisdom. They conveyed best wishes of parish Priest Fr Lawrence D’Souza and the parishnors from Belman.

 
Merit Freight managing director Joseph Mathias, enthralled the gathering by his speech and singing melodious songs.

 

 
The exiting president Anil Cardoza handed over the charge to newly-elected president Ivan D’Souza and wished him success in his endeavors.

 
All the past presidents were honored for their contribution to Bethkati group over the years.

 
The sponsors for the event were felicitated, who are the pillars in supporting the events every year.

 
The talented children of Belman parish performed dance numbers and showcased their talents, and were recognized and awarded accordingly, followed by a humorous skit by Ivan Pereira and team.

The music was played by Lancy, Russell and Wilson.  Ronald entertained the crowd with Konkani hit songs.
