Bangalore, 8 May 2014: The results of second PU exams were announced by education minister Kimmane Ratnakar here on Thursday May 8 morning.
Dakshina Kannada has topped the state with a pass percentage of 86.04 percent, followed by Udupi with a 85.57 pass percentage.
Overall, 60.47 percent of the students have passed in the state, about a percent more than last year.
Again, the girls have outshone the boys.
The pass percentage in rural areas is 60.47 percent, while in urban areas it is 60.15 percent. Bidar district is at the bottom with 44.95 percent.
The last date for appealing for retotalling of papers is May 20.
