Manama: Bahrain Kannada Sangha celebrates Eid

Manama, 19 September 2010: Eid celebrations were held at Kannada Sangha cultural hall. Around 200 members and their families were present to witness this grand celebration. The theme was traditional dress code.

 

The members enjoyed dances and especially the presentation of Qawali by members was appreciated by all present. It was a delightful event presented by the Sangha members.

 

 

General Secretary of the sangha welcomes the members and guests. The president wished all the members a “Happy Eid” and since Ganesh Chaturthi was also fell during Eid president wished all the members on the occasion.

 

On this day the Donor passes for the upcoming event of Yakshagana “ Devimahatme part II Shambavi Vijaya” on 24th Sept;2010 at the Indian Club Hall, were released by The president of Dakshina Kannada Muslim Welfare Association Mr. Abdul Razak, also present was Mr. Dayananda Shettigar,Miyar, from India.

 

The celebration was concluded with Special Eid Dinner.
