Clarks Exotica Resort & Spa wins 6th Golden Star Award in Mumbai as best Indian resort of the year

Mumbai, Feb 25, 2014 : Continuing with their recognition as one of the top hotel resorts in India, Bangalore’s Clarks Exotica  Resort & Spa  was presented  the coveted 6th Golden Star Award at a glittering “Stars of the industry” award function held at Taj Lands End Hotel, Mumbai on Valentine’s day (14th Feb. 2014).

The prestigious award was presented to  Nigel  Colaco, Director of Projects and Balaji M., Vice President, Clarks Exotica Resort & Spa by  Jonathan Peters, Chief Patron,  Stars of the Industry   watched by eminent members of the travel and tourism industry.

 

 

The award is constituted to honour various segments of the travel and tourism industry and to encourage healthy competition with an aim to promote tourism.  There were several categories in the hotel industry who picked up various awards.  But the most prominent award of the evening  went to Clarks Exotica Hotel and Resort which was declared as the Best Resort of the year.  The jury felt that the resort has   achieved  business inspite of all odds specially in the sensitive  market.  It was appreciated that the  resort has believed in high degree of customer satisfaction & services excellence.  The eminent jury felt that the resort deserved the 6th Golden Star Award having passed the criteria required for such recognition.

The jury of the 6th Golden Star Awards included Steve Brown, Chief Patron  CMO Asia,

Tim Miller, Chief Patron Asia Retail Congress,  Dr. R.L Bhatia, Founder World CSR Day,

Arun Arora, CEO Edvance Learning Pvt Ltd,  Jonathan Peters, Chief Patron  Stars of the Industry.

Clarks Exotica Hotel and Resort of Bangalore have now added the Golden Star Award after being recently awarded “Best Practices 2013” award at the Hotel Parkhotel, Schonbrunn, Vienna  in Austria on December 8, 2013 conferred by European Society for Quality Research, Switzerland.      Before the Austrian honours, the hotel  won  the most famous International Quality Summit 2013 award at the New York Mariott Marquis Hotel, New York on May 27, 2013, conferred by Business Initiative Directions, Madrid,  Spain.

Philanthropist and NRI Ronald Colaco has been the major force behind the success of the Clarks Exotica Resort & Spa of Bangalore  both directly and indirectly.
