Udupi. 03 August : Vishwasadamane, a home for destitute located at Shankarapura, near here rescued, a mentally-challenged Liyaqat, a native of Uttar Pradesh (UP) who speaks only Hindi and Bengali and was found wondering in the streets of Shirva, near here on Friday August 2.
Vishwasadamane, chief pastor Sunil D’Souza accompanied by his colleagues rescued Liyaqat, who was found at Santekatte, near Kallianpur, here, after attending a phone call from a Samaritan in this regard.
He has been cleansed of all dirt that he carried since many years by the caretakers at the Vishwasadamane and admitted in their rehabilitation center.
Vishwasadamane cares for over 200 orphaned, destitute and mentally-challenged at their rehabilitation center. Its humanitarian services are recognized by the state government and general public. Meanwhile, the kind-hearted donors can support in their endeavor.
