Shirva: Nityananda Sports Club celebrates anniversary with social consciousness

Shirva, 27 Nov 2012: The Seventh Anniversary of Nithyananda Sports Club,  " Innadonji dhina" was celebrated on 25 November .2012 at Inna Zilla Panchayat Primary School.

 

In the morning, as a part of the program, sports were conducted for  the people of Inna area. In the evening a beautiful program was staged and it was presided over by Mr. Rocky D’Silva the president of the Nithyanda Sports Club Inna. During the program a cheque for  Rs 50,000 was handed over to  Mr. Vinod, T.V. Channel media person Udupi towards Endosulphan Victims Welfare Fund. Rs 20,000 cheque was also given for the same cause by St. Theresa Church, Mukamar. Rs. 60,000 were  distributed to 9 financially poor families of Inna village by Nithyanda Sports Club.

Gopal Bhandary, MLA of Karkala and Lalaji R. Mendon, MLA of Kaup were the guests of honour for the programme. Rajendra Bhat compeered the programme.
