Shirva, 07 May 2012: Even before establishing the school, college, old age homes; our religion, culture and social activities needs to be attended first and by conducting the prayers to the deities our religious duties must be fulfilled. The traditions adopted by the elders must be continued by the youngsters. Here the devotion, love, faith and trust are important and not the grandness. In the lords work everyone must take part. The Mutts and Temples are not just limited to those who conduct the pujas, but for everyone, said Shree Sansthana Shri Kashi Mutt Seer Shrimad Sudhindra Theertha Shripadar’s Disciple Shrimad Saymindra Theertha Swameeji.
He was speaking in his asheervachana during the Religious program conducted on the occasion of the centenary clelbration of Shirva Shrikashimutt Shrimahalasa Narayani Temple. On this occasion he felicitated the donors Andaru Ramadasa Kini and Narayana Vamana Shenoy Mumbai on behalf of the Organizing Committee. Committee President in his introductory note briefed on the development works. Secretary Chidananda Pai Udupi welcomed and also compeered the program.
S.Y. Bhat conducted the religious briefings. Committee members Sathyanarayana Nayak Shirva, B. Damodhara pai, Ramadasa R. Shenoy and Ramananda Shenoy were present on the dias. In the morning Tulasidala Archane, Mahapooje and other religious ceremonies were conducted.
