Charles Quadros Elected as New President of the CA Bank, Moodubelle

Moodubelle, 31 March 2010: Mr. Charles Quadros was elected unanimously as the new President of the Cooperative Agricultural Bank (C.A. Bank) of Moodubelle on Saturday, 27th March 2010 for a term of five years with effect from 27th March 2010. Mr. M.S. Abu Bakr was elected as the Vice President.

The outgoing President of the C.A. Bank, Mr. Shivaji S. Suvarna who completed his term as the President of the C.A. Bank and five year term as the Director was honoured by the new President-Mr. Charles Quadros and Mr. M.S. Abu Bakr by presenting him shawl and fruits.

Similarly, Mrs. Helen D’Souza who has completed five year term as the Director of the C.A. Bank Moodubelle was also honoured by Shivaji S. Suvarna and Mrs. Benedicta Philomena Alva.

Out of the eight former Directors of the C.A. Bank, five of them have been re-elected. These are: Mr. Charles Quadros, Mrs. Benedicta Philomena Alva, Mr. Jaya, Mr. Andrew Gregory D’Souza and Mr. M.S. Abu Bakr. The three outgoing Directors after completing their five year term are: Mrs. Helen D’Souza, Mr. Shivaji S. Suvarna and  Mr. M. Shaban. In their place the newly elected Directors are:  Mr. Karunakar Karkera, Mr. Ivan DÁlmeida and Mr. Rajendra Shetty.
