In spite of heavy rain devotees throng to Ganeshotsasva at Palli-Ninjoor

Moodubelle, 03 September 2011: Incessant rain did not prevent the ardent devotees of Shri Ganesha from visiting the Tweenty First Sarvajanika Ganeshotsava in the premises of Palli-Ninjoor Grama Panchayat. On the second day of the three days long Ganesh festival on Friday, September 2, 2011 there was cultural programme and variety entertainment that regaled hundreds of spectators.
The cultural programme had started from 2 pm performed by the students of the Zilla Panchayat Madhari Hiriya Prathamika School, Palli and by the students of Government PU College, Palli. There was Bhajana programme from 6 to 8 pm.
The popular entertainment programme, “Rasamanjari” presented by Kishore Kumar’s group and ‘Junior Vishnuvardhan’ began at 9 pm which was appreciated by the entire audience. Following the ‘Mahapuje’ at 10 pm, there was hilarious Tulu play “Buddhi-Budaye” presented by Bedra Group at 11 pm.
The third day of the Ganesh festival on Saturday, September 3, 2011 has been devoted to various pujas. There will be ‘Sarvajanika Annasantarpane’ at 12.30 pm. After evening Mahapuje at 4 pm, the procession for the immersion of the Ganesh idol will commence at 6pm.
