Udupi: Belle Vyavasaya Seva Sahakari Sangha convenes AGM

Udupi, 18 Sep 2023: The annual general body meeting of Belle Vyavasaya Seva Sahakari Sangha was held Geeta Mandir, Belle, here on Monday September 18.

 

The Sangha chairman Belle Shivaji S Suvarna welcomed the gathering and presided the event.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Shivaji said that the Sangha is on progressive path and provides all types of facilities to the shareholders including loans to dairy farmers and peasants to grow their crops besides public  distribution of rations to ration cardholders, he said.

 

 

Shivaji also said that Sangha is financially empowered that should strengthen the resolve of shareholders in investing in fixed deposits. It’s committed to pay best interest on such deposits, added Suvarna.

 

The Sangha directors George Gerald Fernandes and Harish Shetty put forth future plans.

 

The Sangha shareholders Hanif Manipura, Jaya Poojary, Samir KMF Manipura, Prabha and others shared the experiences.

 

Gangadhara Shetty and team shared info on organic farming and health benefits.

 

The Sangha vice chairman Gregory D Souza, directors Dayananda Nayak, Karnakara Karkera, Rajendra Shetty, John Baptist D Almeida, Pradeep, Usha A Kanchan and Shakuntala were present at the dais.  

 

The Sangha director Sujata S Suvarna delivered vote of thanks. The staff Nancy Aranha compered the programme.
