Mangaluru: Bajpe police arrest vehicle battery thieves

Mangaluru, 09 Aug 2023: Bajpe police have arrested two men who were wanted in cases of theft of batteries from parked Lorries and JCBs during night time.

 

 

Those arrested are Pradeep (20) from Mooduperar and Anil (23) from Kandavara. A car worth Rs 4 lakhs and 17 batteries have been seized from them.

 

Two separate cases were registered in Bajpe regarding theft of batteries from Lorries, tippers and JCBs parked in Addoor, Kaikamba and Gurupur areas. Police who got information that some people were travelling in a car with batteries for sale on August 8, launched an operation and apprehended the duo.
