St Mary’s College, Shirva organises a special lecture on Digital Technology, AI Data science

Shirva, 26 June 2023: The computer science department of St Mary’s College, Shirva, in association with IT Club organized a special lecture on Digital Technology, AI Datascience and job opportunities on 24 June 2023 at Fr Henry Castelino Auditorium of the College.

 

Data science is a combination of data mining, machine learning and statistical analysis to solve data problems in various fields today. By learning such data science skills, youth can get better ideas to solve business problems and make better decisions for businesses Said the chief guest Ms Kruthika lead-HR from cognitive solutions, Mangalore.

 

President of the programme, Principal of the College, Dr Herald Ivan Monis spoken In the current era, computer graduates are in high demand in the market due to rapid changes in science and technology. He also stressed Students should prepare themselves to take on the challenges of the industry by learning business skills during their college life and shape their future.

 

 

Mr. Fadi, team lead of business operation of cognitive solution, Mangalore as a Resource Person conducted interact session and explain the different wide diversity knowledge on seminar.

 

Computer graduates need to understand the changing technology landscape and enhance their skills in designing software applications that society needs said Lt. K. Praveen Kumar, Head of Computer Science Department and IT Club Director of the college.
