Excellence Day 2023 observed by St. Lawrence EM School, Moodubelle

Udupi/M’Belle, 10 June 2023: St. Lawrence English Medium School and PU college celebrated Excellence Day 2023 on Saturday, 10 June 2023 during which they meritorious students, 15 distinction holders of PUC and 14 distinction holders of SSLC were honoured. During this programme all the class toppers from class 1 to 9 were also felicitated.

 

Rev. Fr. George Thomas D’Souza-Correspondent of St. Lawrence Educational Institutions, Moodubelle presided over the programme. Advocate  Mr. Wilfred D’Mello was the chief guest. Mr. Pritish D’Sa, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council, Mr. Mukunda Kamath, philanthropist, Mrs. Jacintha Lobo, senior lecturer of the PU College and Bro. Philip Noronha, Principal were on the dais.

 

 

Advocate Mr. Wilfred D’Mello in his message asked the students to imbibe in them good qualities like discipline, punctuality, honesty and hard work. SSLC topper Miss Thrisha who scored 618 out of 625 was presented  a cash award of Rs.50,000. This amount was given by Mr. Clement Lobo, a businessman from Dubai.

 

Correspondent Rev. Fr. George D’Souza thanked the parents who gave the students moral support to work hard. Principal, Bro. Philip Noronha welcomed the gathering and Mr. Balakrishna Rao proposed the vote of thanks.
