Mangaluru: Konkani Manyata Divas celebration, musical nite held at Valencia church

Mangaluru, 22 Aug 2022: Parishioners of Valencia celebrated the ’Konkani Manyata Divas’ at the Golden Jubilee Hall on Sunday, August 21.

 

The programme began with a prayer led by Jessica and group. The cultural programme also was organised where the parishioners performed skit, dance and songs.

 

The chief guest for the function was Jacquline Fernandes. parishioner and winner of Soad 4.

 

 

Parish priest Fr Roque D’Sa in his presidential speech thanked the parishioners for coming forward and for participating in the programme, wished everyone good luck.

 

Gurkars of all the 22 wards of the parish were presented with a bouquet of flowers for their service rendered.

 

Convenor of 21 commission Steevan Rodrigues welcomed the gathering. Secretary Rita Menezes proposed the vote of thanks. Formal programme was compered by Janet Pereira. Cultural program was compered by ace compere Ronald Rodrigues and Vinisha.

 

Resident Priest Fr Paul led a prayer before meals. The programme ended with a dinner which was prepared by the ward members.
