Udupi, 04 Jul 2022: Every year, the new batches looking at the past records of their predecessors, always had an urge to contribute something useful, unique, memorable and exceptional……. During early inception years of the College in 70’s and 80’s only one unit was functioning and students’ passionate involvement motivated the Principal and Management to form two units with members crossing 200 Volunteers.
It goes without saying, the role and contribution of NSS always there in almost all activities inside the Campus, whether the program under NSS banner or otherwise. For Principal and faculty, this is one of the trusted team to execute any tough assignment. The leadership qualities, community living, self-help and helping each other, encouraging and rejoicing with members are just few take away home for their lifetime and surprisingly that cordial relationship continued after leaving the College.
Another significant contribution of NSS units of Milagres rightly and visibly noticed in their Annual Camps, normally a week or 10 days.
