Udupi: Online Classes of St. Lawrence PU College, Moodubelle Inaugurated

Udupi/M’Belle, 16 Jul 2021: Inauguration of the new website for the online classes for the Academic Year 2021-22 of St. Lawrence PU College, Moodubelle and also welcome to the newly arrived Correspondent Fr. George D’Souza were held on Thursday, 15 July 2021 at St. Lawrence PU College Hall.

 

Inaugurating the programme, Fr. George D’Souza-Correspondent of St. Lawrence Educational Institutions said that institutions can thrive and prosper if all the concerned work together with the same aim and goals.

 

The message of Philip Mudartha, 1969 SSLC batch student who stood first in the entire state of Karnataka in that examination was presented to the gathering in the beginning.

 

Floral homage was offered to the pictures of late Fr. Abundius D’Souza-Founder of St. Lawrence High School and late Fr. Alexander Lobo-Founder of St. Lawrence PU College.

 

 

Honorary Advisor to the Old Students Association P.D. Kamath wished well to the new academic year.

 

The new website was inaugurated by Sudhakar Poojary-President of Belle Grama Panchayat.

 

TV set donated by one of the generous persons was handed over to one of the eighth standard student.

 

Alwyn Mathias, Ivan Menezes and Alil Alva who had helped in developing the new website for the college were felicitated during this occasion. 

 

Ln. Anil D’Mello-President of the Lions Club of Moodubelle (2020-21), Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza-President of Manipura Rotary Club, Elias D’Souza-President of Old Students Assocaition, Devdas Hebbar, Br. Philip Noronha-Principal of St. Lawrence English Medium High School,Sr. Irene Viegas-HM of Belle Church Aided Higher Primary School were present.

 

Edward Larsen D’Souza-Principal of St. Lawrence PU College welcomed the gathering,  Mrs. Sunitha Kamath-HM of St. Lawrence Kannada Medium High School proposed the vote of thanks and Naveen Correa compeered the programme.
